2 phase make up remover (sophie paris)

ok. another sophie paris review?!

Hello ladies

Yes! another sophie paris reviewer. Not only are they cheap but they provide good products too.
(and i get 30% discounts because I'm one of their dealers.)

I've read a few beauty bloggers raving about how good maybelline's make up remover is, ( i think that was maybelling, not really sure). The raves somehow convinces me to try it, but it would be unnecessary for me as of now because I still haven't consumed the one that I've been using.

It's no other than..

(such a bad photo)

here's a closer look:

2 PHASE MAKE UP REMOVER

Product description: Enriched with Jojoba Oil to remove all traces of make up whilst moisturizing your skin. The alcohol-free formula is extremely gentle for eyes and lips and do not cause irritations. For all skin-types.

I only use this product on my eye area, because I'm too afraid to let the product reach my forehead, cheeks, etc. because of the oil content. I do have an oily face thus (probably) using something with oil will only cause more oil production. (hah! i used the word "oil" 4 times on this paragraph alone.)

Since, my nichido eyeliner is a part of my make up routine, i definitely needed something that could help me easily take it off before my night bath.

Pros:
  • You can definitely tell that it contains oil because the water subsides in the bottle.
  • Does not have any strong scent, that will make you feel disgusted. Remember how a johnson's body oil smells like? It somehow smells like that.
  • A 100ml bottle costs around 200 pesos ONLY.
  • It's lightweight. It will be easy for you to carry it around when travelling.
Cons:
  • I'm still unsure with the effects of jojoba oil on my skin.
  • The water subsides fast in the bottle. Requires you to be prompt in squeezing it on your cotton balls.
Will I repurchase?

As of now, no because I really do want to try maybelline's make up remover and compare the effects. If the latter won't work on my skin then I'd go back to this one.

Scale:

4/5.

Thank you very much for taking time to read my blog! :)

Much love,

Peepir
